Catskill Tourism Postcard Art
I have done so much tourism artwork. Mostly for the Catskill Mountains. But recently I did tourism work for my local town, and was asked to do something for the Town of Catskill. I wanted to do something which really brought their theme of cats and the local scenery together. I decided to do something a little different with it, and try and make it look like it was sewn, hence the hand painted lace. This was done with acrylic paint and paint markers. I drew the railroad bridge that goes over the Catskill Creek, and the Rip Van Winkle Statue that stands at the end of Main Street, the center of Town. The cat, is none other than my beloved Siamese, Willow.
