Koi Letterpress Greeting Card

I am a letterpress printer in Coxsackie, NY and own Raver Press & Graphic Design. I also own a fish pond, as well as a planted fish tank. Water and fish fascinate me. I love tattoo d something that combined a classic koi tattoo design with a clean beautiful look, for a greeting card. I design in Illustrator and send my design out in 100% black or a combination of PMS colors and 100% black depending on the number of photopolymer plates I need made, each for a different color in my finished printed design. This time I used one color to print with, so only one plate was needed. I did not really need the register marks, as there was no lining up of plates to do, but keep them in all of my designs, just as standard. I took a video of the printing process on my Vandercook #1 proofing press and finally displayed my printed card.
