Mademoiselle in the Garden

I have done so many baskets of flowers, and this time I wanted to make something quite different. I decided to make them into a hat. And to me, it looked very French. So I took the unfinished piece to my art group for a critique and advice of what to put in the background. They suggested wallpaper. I had wanted a tree. So I ended up making tree wallpaper, with a bright gold, and she still seemed to be missing something. I thought of butterflies, and surrounded her with butterflies.
