I work on commission to design letterpress printing plates for wedding stationery. I designed a plate, but the company I am doing the work for said it would be difficult to print. Letterpress plates are black and white, or sometimes have a layer or multi-layers of Pantone colors for color separations. Since this design was not chosen, it left me free to use for my own personal use. I colored up the design and took out the mock wedding text I put in, and added a photograph I took from back in college of my daughter dressed like a flapper, because it seemed fitting. My overall design was a modern version of the Arts & Crafts Movement.
